GENERAL YOGA 75 min

General Yoga Classes are designed to strengthen and open the body. Guided in a non-competitive manner, students are encouraged to progress slowly and steadily through a sequence of asanas (poses). Your teacher will provide modifications and options to suit each participants level of experience allowing you to move safely into and out of the asana, so don’t be shy to give it a try.

The focus is about moving beyond our comfort zone and finding that playful child within.

 

NURTURE ‘N’ NOURISH    75 mins

A slower paced practice, using longer holding times in postures to allow for a deeper stretch which can release blocked energy and improve circulation. Working with the same meridians (energy pathways) as acupuncture, we Nurture our body and mind ‘N’ Nourish our organs and hormonal glands in the process. Restoring this energy within us has a direct impact on our psychological states, bringing vital balance and restoring your system to optimal health.

This class is also ideal for Beginners, Pregnant Women, Sufferers Of Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuropathic Pain, Chemo- Or Radiotherapy, Thyroid Conditions.

KIDS YOGA    45 min

Yoga for Kids is a playful activity to help gently build confidence, strength, co-ordination, flexibility, focus and calm all within a fun, exciting and supportive non-competitive environment Each class includes yoga postures, relaxation, simple breathing and meditation exercises, group games, sound, song and dance.

 

 

YOGA 4 TEENS    60 min

Specifically for teens providing a supportive environment where young people can build strength, flexibility, confidence and inner peace. Yoga 4 Teens not only helps teenager’s cope with physiological changes, but also supports the emotional and hormonal changes which can bring confusion and stress.

Yoga builds mindful awareness, confidence, concentration, guides intuition, and teaches a multitude of relaxation techniques. Yoga teaches us to explore ourselves with optimism and self-expression. Yoga is about giving, acceptance, respect for ourselves and others.

 

 

COMMUNITY YOGA   60 min

Classes are offered for every age level and include music, movement, relaxation and group activities. Classes are designed to various themes and can serve as an introduction to yoga.

 

PRENATAL   60 min

OUR PHILOSOPHY: We believe in empowering women by giving them the knowledge and skills they need to have a positive birth experience.

 

Fact: Women who practice yoga throughout their pregnancies experience shorter labours, less need for pain relief, less medical interventions and have calmer babies Pregnancy Yoga is a speciality class. You not only want a properly trained and qualified teacher, you also want to be able to connect at a deeper level. If you’re not completely satisfied with a class, shop around. Pregnancy is not a time to have to deal with more stress! We want our students to leave class feeling relaxed and in control of their lives.

 

We invite you to prepare your body & mind for the birth of your baby in a warm and welcoming environment by learning the tools and techniques that will assist you during pregnancy and labour, including:

These classes are for women only. However, we do offer Couples Birthing Workshops several times a year. During these workshops your partner or support person will actively participate and learn how to best assist you during your pregnancy and labour.

 

MAMMA & BUBBA      60 min

Classes will give you an opportunity to bond with your child while nourishing yourself. Learn postures and movements to help your body as you adapt to the physical and emotional stresses of caring for a young child.
Classes focus on:

  • Exercises To Strengthen The Pelvic Floor, Abdominals And Back
  • A Step By Step Build Up Of Whole Body Condition And Steadiness
  • Yoga Postures Specifically Aimed At The Upper Back, Shoulders And Neck, To Counterbalance The Additional Strain That Comes With Lifting, Carrying And Breastfeeding.
  • Deep Relaxation And Restorative Postures. These Postures Can Be Helpful With Shortage Of Sleep, They Bring Energy Back
  • Taking Time And Care For Yourself

Appropriate for new parents (6 weeks post birth) and infants to crawling. All levels are welcome & No prior yoga experience is necessary.

 

BABY IN ARMS CIRCLE   60 min

Your not alone, come join our community of parents seeking to make connections with others at the same stage of life. These sessions will give you an opportunity to sit, relax and talk to other new parents, while taking the opportunity for some gentle stretching and relaxation. Learn useful tips to help your body adapt to the physical and emotional stresses of caring for a young child.

Sessions are appropriate for new parents and infants to crawling.

PRIVATE CLASSES

Private classes are tailored to individual needs. Here you can have the luxury of a class designed especially for yourself, for you and a partner or a group of friends / colleagues.
